Product description
Bring tailored style, blackout performance, and effortless smart control to your space with the Motorized Blackout Roman Shade. Designed for bedrooms, nurseries, and media rooms, this custom motorized Roman shade combines elegant fabric folds with convenient one-touch operation for comfortable light control at any time of day.

- Roll Position: Both cordless and motorized shades are available with standard or reverse roll. Cordless standard-roll shades include a curved cassette, while reverse-roll shades include a square cassette.
- Pull rod included if the cordless shade height is over 59 inches.

Compatible with four major smart home ecosystems: Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings.
Motorization Details
- Charging & Power: Each motor includes a 118" charging cable and power adapter. Charging takes about 6–8 hours with a standard charger. The charging port is located on the right side of the headrail. The indoor-use solar panel (not waterproof) includes a fixed 7 7/8" cable.
- Battery Life: A full charge supports approximately 300–500 uses. Most customers only need to recharge every 3 months, depending on shade size and usage. The motor can remain plugged in safely while charging
- Solar Panel Tips:
• Works best in areas with strong sunlight
• Not recommended for north-facing windows
• Solar panel must receive direct sunlight for effective charging
Note: Low-E glass and laminated glass may block too much sunlight for solar charging. - Installation Notice: Keep the motor cable with the yellow label at least 0.5" away from metal window frames to ensure strong signal performance.
- Remote Control: Requires 2 AAA batteries.
- 1-Channel Remote Control:
• Controls ONE single shade independently.

• Channel 0 : Controls all paired shades simultaneously.

Care Instructions
Regular dusting by using a feather duster or a soft cloth to remove dust. For minor stains, gently clean the area with a damp cloth and mild detergent.

Do I need to subtract 3/8 inch when ordering?
Yes. If your window casing width is 50", you order width should be 49 5/8" (deduct 3/8" by yourself).
Has 3/8 inch been subtracted from the size using the Measurement Finder on Draperfect?
Yes, the Measurement Finder has already subtract 3/8 inch for you.
Why there is a gap in between of two roller shades hanging beside each other?
The bracket and the mechanism will take some distance on both side of the roller blind, that is why the fabric width is always smaller than the roller shade width.
Do I need a specific hub to use these smart features?
Yes, to enable smart control, you will need a compatible Thread Border Router (Hub) from one of the supported platforms. Below is a list of compatible devices:
- Apple Home: HomePod (2nd gen/mini) or Apple TV 4K (2nd gen, or 3rd gen 128GB).
- Google Home: Nest Hub (2nd gen), Nest Hub Max, or Nest Wifi Pro.
- Amazon Alexa: Echo (4th gen), Echo Hub, Echo Plus (2nd gen), Echo Show 8/10 (3rd gen), Echo Studio, or the eero series (eero 6, 6+, Pro 6, Pro 6E, Max 7).
- SmartThings: SmartThings Hub v3 or SmartThings Station.
How long does it take to receive my order?
